There was almost a common state of fire-fighting, facilities teams did not have the 'proper tools' to work efficiently (many using paper based systems / Excel), there was very little inter-departmental communication, and poor control over contractors.
CompassAFM started in 2009 as consultancy business to work with FM customers in transforming daily operations and delivering tangible results. In 2012 we introduced our CMMS software - FacilityManager® as a means of ensuring excellence in FM procedures, cost savings and reduction in administrative workloads.
Today more than ever, we recognise that customers want more than just a “boxed” CMMS software supplier and that each company has their own unique approach to facility management. In particular they want a "hands-on" approach backed by excellent customer care. Facility Managers and their teams also want a respected and enjoyable working environment.
In 2024 we launched The CMMS Performance Academy so we can expand on the delivery of our vision.
