Find the pricing plan and options that best fit your require
The financial advantage by NOT pay per user license fees year after year?
Every facilities department is different, your CMMS should adapt to your needs
Now you are only limited by your imagination
When it comes to choosing a CMMS system, one of the critical decisions is between a perpetual license and a subscription model. There are many advantages to a perpetual license.
A perpetual CMMS license allows you to fully customise and configure the software to meet your specific needs. You aren't bound by the limitations of a subscription service that may restrict certain functionalities or require approval for modifications.
You also never need to worry about data-trapping or disputes over data ownership.
Concerns about data security and privacy are minimised, especially as you control who has access to sensitive information, not the vendor.
Think of a subscription as a continuous expense like rent; you pay for as long as you use it, but you never truly own anything. A perpetual license is like purchasing a house— after the initial investment, you have a long-term asset. This can lead to significant savings over time, especially for organizations with long-term maintenance needs.
A subscription comes with the risk of price increases, which can strain budgets and complicate financial planning. In contrast, a perpetual CMMS license typically comes with a one-time fee, ensuring that your costs remain stable.
With a perpetual CMMS license, you have the flexibility to adapt the software as your business grows. You can freely add additional users, new features, integrate with other systems, and tailor the solution to suit your evolving requirements without waiting for the vendor’s approval or incurring additional subscription / customisation costs.
If a vendor experiences financial difficulties or decides to discontinue the service, you could lose access to critical software. A perpetual license protects you from this risk. Once you purchase the software, it’s yours to use indefinitely, ensuring that your maintenance management system remains in place regardless of vendor decisions.

FacilityManager requires a Claris FileMaker hosting company of which there are many. We would recommend our hosting partner who we have used for many years.
You can choose your own hosting company or we can arranged for you to be hosted on hosting partner. There will be a small additional hosting fee from whichever host you choose.
FacilityManager is one of the easiest CMMS products to learn.
Typically an Admin level user will be very proficient with as little as 30 hours of training. Others, such as Coordinators and contractors much less.
The database engine behind FacilityManager is Claris FileMaker. This is an extremely ease to use software with an excellent GUI. There are over 1 million FileMaker users.
To customise FacilityManager you will require to either purchase a single copy of Claris FileMaker (they have a free 45 day trial) or for larger organisations a subscription would be more cost efficient. For more details - https://www.claris.com/trial/
There are over 1400 Claris partners including CompassAFM who can assist you in modifying FacilityManager.
